Donny Shankle: Low Hang

Video By: Donny Shankle

January 27, 2015 training session. Donny Shankle focuses on improving strength through training hang movements.

As you first start, Shankle explains that the majority of your training should be from the hang. The hang splits up the full movement, enabling you to concentrate on the areas you may need the most attention. They add stress to the back, which in turn builds strength. Training from the hang will allow you to set your back tight, "and that's the golden rule in weightlifting. You've got to keep your back vertical."
