The 2015 Granite Games start TOMORROW and we've got a hell of a competition brewing. We took a look at who had the most to prove and the women's power rankings and now it's time to take a look at who's who in the men's division of the 2015 Granite Games:
5. Sam Dancer
Sam Dancer is a sweetheart. He's also incredibly fit, just barely missing qualifying for the 2015 CrossFit Games. Expect him to do crush the front squat event.
4. Aaron Hanna
Aaron Hanna finished 12th at the 2015 CrossFit Games and is clearly pretty strong so he's going to do very well at the 2015 Granite Games. He's got a solid track record of doing well with classic CrossFit movements as showcased by his strong finishes in heavy DT and the Soccer Chipper at the Games.
3. Cody Anderson
Cody Anderson didn't make it to the Games in 2015, barely missing out by just a few points. He's not a powerhouse, as he's much smaller than the average Games athlete, but he does very well with moderate loads especially when mixed with bodyweight movements, like in the deadlift/hspu couplet and the rope climb event at this years Granite Games.
2. Tommy Hackebruck
What is there to say about Tommy Hackenbruck? He's big, strong, fit, and incredibly well conditioned and even though his team only placed third overall at the 2015 CrossFit Games ("only" lulz) he's got the fitness and the drive to dive into individual competition.
His engine and strength are incredible and the 2015 Granite Games are the perfect place for him to showcase his fitness.
1. Cole Sager
Cole Sager finished 7th at the 2015 CrossFit Games, crushing events like the Soccer Chipper and the Triangle Couplet. He's got the strength and conditioning to really push the pace on all of the 2015 Granite Games events and he's got the competitive history to know how to play the game. I expect Cole Sager to win the 2015 Granite Games.
