With only two points separating her from Carol-Ann Reason-Thibault in second, Katrin Davidsdottir showed the field why she’s the defending Champ with an absolutely incredible Event Record of 9:50 on Event 6.

Michele Letendre made a solid return to the field with a second place finish just a couple second ahead of Carol-Ann Reason-Thibault.
With just one event remaining, the race really focuses on the fifth and final qualifying spot. Currently held by Dani Horan, she’s only four points ahead of Tasia Percevecz and only six points ahead of Whitney Gelin.
As long as Dani can beat Tasia Percevecz and stay within one spot of Whitney Gelin, she’ll earn her trip to Carson. If Percevecz can place in the top six on Event 7 and stay ahead of both Horan and Gelin, she’ll earn her spot to Carson. For Gelin, the task is tougher. If she can place in the top six, she needs to beat Horan by two spots and Percevecz by one spot to ensure her trip to the Games.
