Athletes have a total of 3:00 minutes to hold a handstand as long as possible, without leaving the boundaries of the 3x3 feet box. If their hand touches the tape, time stops. The event is scored based upon longest consecutive holding times. Times are not cumulative, and an athlete's recorded score is their longest held handstand. Since its inception in 2008, the All-Cities Open has been one of the premiere tests of fitness in the South Central Region. In its 6th year, the All-Cities Open competition is taking place in the heart of Dallas, Texas.
