Marissa Klingseis Crushes At The American Open

Marissa Klingseis was at the heart of a controversy just a short while ago when USA Weightlifting bumped her off the World Team in favor of Sarah Robles, who hadn't gone through the proper and established qualification channels.

Ever a competitor, that clearly lit a fire in her and her performance at the 2015 American Open was HUGE. She went 6/6, snatching 108kg/238lb and clean & jerking 140kg/308lb, absolutely demolishing the competition and making a strong case for her place on future World Teams.
