Rio 2016 Men's 69kg Recap
The men's 69kg A session was awesome. Shi Zhiyong (CHN) was the favorite coming in and he did not disappoint putting together a very solid performance (162/190/352), but it was second place finisher Daniyar Ismayilov (TUR) who showed up with an incredible and consistent performance. His final snatch at 163kg was an amazing show of grit and concentration. He caught it deep and had to duck walk to get back under the bar, then save the bar from helicoptering as he was standing it up. He finished the lift facing away from the judges and had to wait and turn his head to see the judge's down signal. It was one of the best saved lifts I've ever seen, absolutely incredible.
