Jacob Heppner’s 8 Weeks To Making Sucky Workouts Suck Less
FloElite is super excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with the one and only Jacob Heppner to bring you all something very special.
Maybe you know Heppner from taking seventh at the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games, or maybe for his crazy workouts like completing all of the 2017 Regional events in one day and obliterating nearly everyone's score.
One of the things Heppner is best known for is taking the most painful looking workouts and making them look easy and pedestrian.
How is Heppner able to do this? How do we get to that point?
Obviously, there’s a lot that goes into that sort of capacity and willingness to suffer, but we asked Jacob if he would be willing to share with us how someone could make the suckiest of workouts suck less.
Heppner happily obliged.
Turns out, like some type of weird CrossFit supervillain, Heppner keeps a log of all the workouts that have made him question his sanity, workouts that, in his words, “were necessary to go through.”
We’ve taken those workouts and put them together in the aptly named "Jacob Heppner’s 8 Weeks To Making Sucky Workouts Suck Less."
What Is “Jacob Heppner’s 8 Weeks To Making Sucky Workouts Suck Less?”
This program is meant to be supplementary to whatever training you’re doing currently. It is two workouts a week for eight weeks. They have various formats you’re familiar with and some new formats you may not be familiar with.
The workouts are the exact ones which Heppner himself wrote and did in his training, and we will be providing scaling options for all capacity levels.
How Does It Work?
Starting on November 6, over the course of eight weeks, subscribers will get access to one new video a week featuring two handwritten workouts from Jacob Heppner himself as well as tips from him on how to approach the workout, scaling options, and insight into what you should take away from each one.
You should plan on hitting these workouts with a few rest days in between so you can recover, because they are doozies!
Who Can Use It?
We designed this as a purely supplemental workout program, something that you can add to your current training.
These workouts will be perfect if you’re at the point where the regular class WOD at your box isn’t enough, if you’re looking for that extra piece to get you ready for the 2018 Open, or if you just want to have some extra suffering training each week.
