Second Anderson At The Games This Year?
At the end of day 1 we see familiar names at the top. Among those, Alex Anderson. A first place finish in Event 1 set him up for the day, and a sixth place finish in Event 2 kept him near the top. He finishes the day in second overall.

Also at the top, no surprise, Scott Panchik. Panchik sits in first after his second place win in Event 1, and a third place finish in Event 2. While he won his heat, he finished 20 seconds behind Graham Holmberg and 23 seconds behind Will Moorad, both in the heat 3. Holmberg was leading the event the entire way up until the last 30 seconds. A set of unbroken strict handstand pushups by Moorad was enough to close the gap between him and Holmberg. The two were neck-and-neck on the last set of kettlebell snatches when Moorad was able to pull ahead and take the win.

Sam Dancer finishes the day in fifth, but only 12 points ahead of sixth place, Shane McBride. Will Dancer be able to hold onto a place in the top 5 throughout the rest of the weekend?

Leaderboard:

  3. Will Moorad
