Brooke Wells had some ground to make up going into day 2, and she did just that, and more. In Event 3 she was finished with her wall balls by around 3:15, and managed to complete all of the pull-ups in two complete sets. Had she not dropped down she would have undoubtedly taken the event record set by Annie Thorisdottir earlier in the morning. She finished the event in 4:35.88, less than one second shy of the event record of 4:35.24. The next closest time for Event 3 at Central Regionals was Nicole Holcomb with a time of 5:11.
Brooke Wells continued the storm in Event 4. Despite fatigue setting in and beginning to move slower on the power cleans, she still had a 2nd place finish. The event win went to Sheila Barden in heat 4 with a time only one second faster than Brooke Wells.

Missing from the competition floor in heat 3 was Elisabeth Akinwale. A reported knee injury forced her to withdraw.
At the end of Events 3 and 4, Brooke Wells is back in 1st place overall, but tied with Sheila Barden in total points. Stacie Tovar only two points behind them.
