Results from the IOC's doping retests of samples from the 2012 Games in London have finally been released by the International Weightlifting Federation and the ten names on this list are massive:

• Boyanka Kostova (AZE), Gold Medalist at 2015 IWF World Championships W58
• Svetlana Podobedova (KAZ), Gold Medalist London 2012 W75
• Dzina Sazanavets (BLR)
• Maryna Shkermankova (BLR), Bronze Medalist London 2012 W69kg
• Yuliya Kalina (UKR), Bronze Medalist London 2012 W58kg
• Yauheni Zharnasek (BLR)
• Maiya Maneza (KAZ)
• Ilya Ilyin (KAZ), Gold Medalist London 2012 M94kg
• Zulfiya Chinshanlo (KAZ), Gold Medalist London 2012 W53kg

This is going to have a massive impact on not only because the medalists from 2012 will be adjusted, but also because many of these athletes are favorites to win gold in Rio 2016. With seven positive tests belonging to medalists, this news could have much farther reaching implications for the future of the sport of weightlifting as an Olympic event.
