According to CrossFit, Leblanc-Bazinet dislocated her shoulder after a fall while practicing on the obstacle course.
"I fell on it and it just came out," Leblanc-Bazinet said. "I kind of wanted to puke. The adrenaline kicked in and I just put it back in."
Editor's Note: Popping your shoulder back into its socket is totally badass.
I noticed she had a taped up shoulder this morning, but didn't think it was anything more than a regular ding from training or the morning's swim event. The shoulder is a joint with a big range of motion, and dislocations can be brutal and chronic once they occur. While it's a bummer that she won't be competing, this is definitely the best decision for Leblanc-Bazinet.
