Maddy Myers is now the 2015 Pan Ams bronze medalist in the W58kg division after the former gold medalist, Alvarez Caicedo, was disqualified for testing positive for an anabolic steroid.
At Pan Ams Maddy totaled 184kg, with an 81kg/178lb snatch and a 103kg/227lb clean & jerk. This past weekend Maddy won the Junior National Championships and set two new American Records with a 206kg total (new American Record) from an 88kg/194lb and a 118kg/260lb clean & jerk (new American Record).
