And there it is: the 2016 Reebok CrossFit Games Open has started with a bang. So now that the first workout is done, who's on top of the leaderboard and where are our favorite athletes? Let's check it out:

Men's 16.1


The top overall score on the men's side goes to Josh Bridges with a score of 365 (14 full rounds + 5ft walking lunges). Tied for 2nd are Noah Ohlsen and Jacob Heppner with a score of 350 (13 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 7 burpees).

Jonne Koski finished 4th overall with a score of 349 (13 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 6 burpees):

As of close of score submissions, Rich Froning and Scott Panchik were tied with 7 other men for 45th place with scores of 320 reps (12 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 3 burpees) and Ben Smith tied for 109th with 41 other athletes with a score of 312 (12 full rounds).

Update: Mat Fraser finished in 36th with a score of 324 (12 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 7 burpees).

Women's 16.1


The top overall score on the women's side goes to Emily Bridgers, with a score of 354 (13 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 8 burpees + 15' walking lunges), narrowly beating out Sam Briggs who finished second overall with a score of 348 (13 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 5 burpees).

2011 and 2012 Champ Annie Thorisdottir is in 5th with a score of 340 (13 full rounds + 10' walking lunges) and 2014 Champ Camille Leblanc-Bazinet finished in 9th overall with a score of 330 reps (12 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 8 burpees + 25' walking lunges).

Sara Sigmundsdottir got 13th with a score of 325 (12 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 8 burpees), beating out Julie Foucher who finished 57th with 301 reps (11 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 8 burpees + 10' walking lunges).

Update: Katrin Davidsdottir, 2015 Games Champ, finished 4th with a score of 345 (13 full rounds + 25' walking lunges + 2 burpees).
