Mid-Atlantic Strongman Challenge Events Breakdown
The 2017 Mid-Atlantic Strongman Challenge will showcase five events and three of them are max events!
The Mid-Atlantic Strongman Challenge is next week in Charlotte, North Carolina and it's shaping up to be a hell of a show. With over $10,000 going to each of the Pro Male and Female Champions and plenty of Pro Cards, Arnold invites, and Strongman National spots on the line, you know the show will be intense.
There are three separate max events at the Mid-Atlantic Challenge! Here are all the competition events you can expect to see:
This event will be run last man standing style and will have a thirty second time limit.
This event will run head-to-head. Each yoke will be carried 25 feet. Athletes can drop yokes as often as they want, but there is a two second penalty for sliding. Athletes must complete each yoke before starting the next one. There's a continuous clock running the whole time and the clock stops when both front feet of the yoke crosses the line.
This event will also be run last man standing and will bring back the classic massive tires on an axle bar. Straps are allowed, but deadlift suits are not. Thirty second time limit.
This event will run head-to-head and will have a 60 second time limit. There will be three implements and four stairs per implement. Total score is time or number of stairs, and there will be split times on each implement hitting the top stair.
This will be the third max event at Mid-Atlantic Strongman Challenge, and will have a thirty second time limit.

Max Circus Dumbbell
This event will be run last man standing style and will have a thirty second time limit.

Progressive Yoke Carry
