After seven consecutive years on the podium, Iceland's Hafthor Julius Bjornsson has finally won World's Strongest Man.

Eddie "The Beast" Hall has a bunch of strongman world records including the insane 500kg deadlift record and winning World's Strongest Man in 2017. But being at the top means everyone is trying to dethrone him and he's not just going to take it lying down.

The second half of 2017 showed us a newly invigorated and energized Hafthor Bjornsson. After taking second at World's Strongest Man, Bjornsson made it clear he's headed to 2018 looking to finally take the crown.

The Mountain continues to grow stronger. On his path to a 455kg/1003lb squat, Europe's Strongest Man and World's Strongest Man runner-up Hafthor Bjornsson has squatted 400kg/881lb for a double and deadlifted 400kg/881lb with no straps.
