Dave Castro Hints At A Chipper Event At The 2017 Reebok CrossFit Games
Dave Castro's recent hint for a chipper event at the 2017 CrossFit Games is vague but full of clues.
Dave Castro's event announcements for the 2017 CrossFit Games have ranged from very specific (1RM snatch!) to as vague as possible (issa bike!) and this one fits somewhere in between.
Castro originally posted this photo album yesterday detailing the rep scheme of a chipper at the 2017 Games, offering an Assault Bike to whoever could guess the movements.

So what do we know? It's a chipper with the rep scheme of 100-80-60-40-20 and that the movements are gymnastics for the first three, monostructural for the fourth, and weightlifting for the final. Here are some examples of each of those, see if you can mad lib a workout out of it.

- pistols/weighted pistols
Monostructural movements
- rowing
- running
- biking
- ski erg
- jumping rope
Weightlifting movements
- squat (back, front, overhead, etc)
- deadlift
- snatch (and variations like hang, squat, split, etc)
- clean (and variations like hang, squat, split, power, etc)
- shoulder to overhead
- bench press
- sandbag cleans
