The International Weightlifting Federation's (IWF) last-minute decision to ban the entire Russian team from Rio not only removed several Olympic medal contenders, but also banned weightlifters who had never tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs in or out of competition. Oleg Chen (RUS, M69) is one of those lifters.

The IWF has just released 17 new positive test results from the 2015 IWF World Championships, and the list includes some big names. Here's the list of new positive disclosures:

World Record holder Kim Un Guk (M62kg) of North Korea has tested positive for letrozole, a non-steroidal breast cancer treatment drug that is sometimes used to treat gynocomastia in people who use anabolic steroids. Guk finished in 2nd overall at the 2015 World Weightlifting Championships with a gold medal performance in the snatch and a silver medal finish in the clean & jerk and was the gold medalist at the 2012 Olympics.

Now that the 2015 IWF World Championships are over, we know that Team USA has scored 3 women's spots and zero men's spots to the 2016 Rio Olympics. Simply put: it's not looking too good for the men of Team USA.

On Thanksgiving Day, Jared Fleming competed in the M94kg B session. After going 2/3 on his snatch and finishing at 167kg, Jared opened his clean & jerk at 192kg, a weight Jared is very comfortable with and something he's hit plenty of times before.
