The Spiders are 7-2 on the season and 5-0 in conference play. A win this weekend would put them one step closer to a CAA championship. At the moment, they sit atop the standings alongside URI, with Stony Brook, Villanova, and Delaware all right behind them at one loss.
Rhode Island currently sits at 8-1 on the season and 5-0 in Coastal Athletic Association Football play. They are ranked No. 10 in the coaches poll, one spot behind CAA foe Richmond who is the only other undefeated team in conference play. Meanwhile Delaware has fallen out of the polls, sitting at 7-1 on the season and 4-1 in conference, their lone blemish a 28-9 loss against Richmond in which their offense really struggled.
