By Lincoln Shryack After three straight weekends of qualifying mayhem at the 2018 CrossFit Regionals, the fields of 40 men and 40 women moving on to the 2018 CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin, are set. There were breathtaking performances from past champions, many first-time qualifiers, and, of course, heartbreak for those who came up just short of the cutline across the globe in the nine dramatic qualifying events. Overall, each of the nine regionals lived up to the hype and more.

By Lincoln Shryack Welcome to the first weekend of Regionals! Nine total regions will be contested across the globe over the next three weeks to determine which five athletes per region (Meridian Regional will have four qualifiers, Latin America will get one) are fit enough to move on to August’s Crossfit Games. Everybody who’s anybody will be testing themselves over the next month in a grueling series of six events to try to punch their tickets to Madison, Wisconsin, for the Games in early August.

This one is very similar to a 4-mile run, if you don’t think about it.

It’s time for the live 18.2 announcement, and this week we’ve got one hell of a matchup on the slate: Patrick Vellner versus Noah Ohlsen. Two men who finished in the top five at the Games last year going head-to-head in the Open will make for a thrilling announcement at CrossFit R.A.W. in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, on Thursday. 

The 2018 Open workout announcements are full of rock-star matchups, and I’m going to tell you who will win each of them.

CrossFit HQ's media team is legit and each year they release a documentary on the previous year's CrossFit Games. The trailer for the 2017 version, called "The Redeemed and The Dominant," drops on Friday 2/9/18.

We found out last week that the 2018 CrossFit Games Open is going international, and now we know who to watch at each of those matchups.

The time has arrived for the 2017 CrossFit Games Invitational. This year is set to put on a show with the host location being down under in Melbourne, Australia.
