Binge watching "Making A Murderer" was the thing to do this past holiday season, but apparently not everyone was interested in spending all their time watching and rewatching the true crime documentary and trying to solve the murder mystery at its heart. Some overachievers were out there lifting weights and training. Weirdos.
Klokov loses his mind, invents (?) Aqualifting
(I know it's an hour long video, but just watch the first twenty seconds to see what I'm talking about)
It's pretty clear by now that Klokov does what he wants, where he wants, when he wants. Just imagine the set up involved inruining setting up that barbell in the pool just to do this kind of insane, dangerous, ridiculously unexplainable exercise. Imagine how many times he's suggested or done something this crazy that the dude in the background doesn't even look up from his floaty to see what Klokov is yelling about.
Pat Mendes snatches 185kg/407lb

Unlike the guy in the pool with Klokov who couldn't care less what he's lifting, the guy next to Pat Mendes is busy pressing 30kg/66lb while Pat is lifting and executes a textbook "well, I guess I don't need this anymore", reracking his bar once Mendes completes his lift.
Mattie Rogers is still a good lifter, should invest in colored plates

Mattie Rogers hit what I'm pretty sure is a 130kg/286lb clean & jerk, although it's hard to tell because all those plates look the same width and are the same color. Based on her IG, we know she's got a full color Eleiko set in her garage, but damn help a brother out and don't make us guess and do math!
Clarence Kennedy cleans 225kg/496lb, enjoys Metallica while training
A couple shots at a nearly 500lb clean & jerk is pretty cool and all, but damn Clarence Kennedy has great taste in music training to 'TALLICA! He says he'll be taking some time off of lifting heavy as he hasn't had a deload in 5 of 6 months so maybe when he gets back he'll be listening to 'TALLICA! even louder and lifting even heavier.
Dimitar Savatinov just can't get 725lb deadlifts to be as quick as he wants, still absurdly fast
[instagram url="https://www.instagram.com/p/BAaR4GcpiRW/" hide_caption="0"]
Dimitar has won America's Strongest Man two years in a row and has competed at World's Strongest Man, which makes him one of the World's strongest men. And yet weaknesses are relative right? Just like he wants to pull that 725 faster, I'd like to be able to do anything more than roll 725lbs around.
Binge watching lifters is always fun and since you obviously haven't had enough, strap in, chalk up, and get your cardio in with a marathon session through our best lifting documentaries:
